A training program that is designed for aspiring radio presenters and young media enthusiasts with budding interests in radio production Broadcast Radio Master Class (BRMC) will be partnering the School Of Communication, Lagos State University to host a conference.
20 students of the University will also get scholarships to attend the programme.
Focus from the Conference will be on content research and creation, marketing and audience, digital investigations, storytelling and podcasting.
The programme scheduled for Tuesday, August 31st, at The Nest Hub, Alagomeji, Yaba in Lagos and will host radio presenters and media professionals across the country.
BRMC’s Operations Director; Fola Folayan, in her remarks said that “the traditional radio medium has gone through major changes in recent years with the current global shift toward multimedia content.”
The Dean, School of Communication, Lagos State University, Prof. S.O. Alawode will also be taking the keynote address.
BRMC’s core mission is to develop the broadcast media industry by providing the necessary skills and training essential for professional broadcasters to be effective, Folayan affirmed.
