Some students of LASU on Friday 20th August protested the killing of Yusuf Nurudeen Alowonle aka OmOmeewa, a student leader shot dead by unknown gunmen on Wednesday.
They moved round the campus for few hours before moving to the Mainland Hospital where the remains of Nurudeen was.
Before his death, Nurudeen had described the probe as an attempt to frame him for being an outspoken opposition to the management of the school.
His case has been largely affected by the COVID19 pandemic and the school management reacted this was postponed severally until Wednesday – the day of his death. He had faced a panel of Inquiry same morning to clear his name of being in possession of unauthorised documents among other charges and left to go around 2pm.
Nurudeen’s death is also coming six months after his marriage leaving behind a three-month-old child, wife and family members.
