The special guest at the just concluded Higher Institutions Football League (HiFL) Cup, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello congratulated and described the competition as a unifying tool for higher institutions.
The event held at the Yabatech Sports Complex saw the Desert Foxes of the University of Maiduguri (UniMaid) triumph over AAUA Luminaries of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba with a lone goal over the weekend.
Olatunji-Bello who was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Adenike Boyo, was joined at the event by the Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, Prof. Olugbenga Ige, and his wife.
