The Lagos State University recently again displayed excellence!

Students from the Faculty of Law did the institution proud by emerging first runner-up at the 1st Prof. Akin Oyebode #MootCourt Competition organized by the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja Branch as part of the events to mark the branch Annual Law Week.

The Lagos State University team after edging out their counterparts from other institutions (facultie(s) of Law) qualified to the finals against University of Ibadan. The team from Lagos State University argued in favor of the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in respect of terrorism as a Crime Against Humanity.

The faculty was represented by Adesupo #Adeterinwa (300L), Badmus #Sheriffdeen (300L), Oluyemi #Abodurin (300L), Timilehin #Ojo (500L), Olaitan John #Ojelabi (500L), and Edalere #Idris (500L).

Adesupo and Badmus both delivered the final address at the finals on Thursday, 21st June, 2018 at the Lagos State High Court, before His Lordship, Justice R.I.B. Adebiyi who commended with intensity their great performance.
