The #Registrar of the Lagos State University #LASU , Ojo, Mr. Mohammed Amoni, has revealed that the institution may penalize graduates of the institution who failed to pick up their processed #certificates.

Speaking on the issue of unprocessed certificates, #Amoni noted that as much as the university was working round the clock to clear the backlogs of unprocessed certificates, he was bothered that there were thousands of those already processed but are yet to be collected by their owners. He revealed that following his appointment as the university’s seventh registrar, his vision is to build on the legacies of his predecessors and support the rebranding efforts of the institution’s #Vice-Chancellor , Prof. Olanrewaju #Fagbohun .

He said; “The university has run advertisements in the past calling on owners of certificates to come forward to pick them but there are still thousands yet to be collected. I think we may have to introduce penalties for late collection. I will raise that again with the management. “We are working round the clock to digitize everything on the campus.

Running a paperless administration is the focus of the new management of the university. But while we are doing that, we would discourage people from abandoning what belongs to them in the care of the university.”
